Lyndon achieved his UE but rather than pursue a career in academia, chose to go from school directly into the RNZAF where he received training in business practice through their Accounts department. Later he transferred to Telecommunications where he took out the advanced trade training top student award.  This led him into encrypted defence networking technology, becoming Telecom SL1 PABX qualified in charge of Ohakea's phone network, with further advanced training in rapid deployment of HF (aircraft) communications. He served in several countries including East Timor under secondment to the United Nations.

During his time in the Military, Lyndon remained focussed on his eventual goal and maintained his Business Studies through Otago and Wellington by distance learning.

He left the RNZAF highly decorated after seven years service to further his academic studies through Massey University where he gained recognition by ICANZ (at that time) for top student in first year accounting.  He then went on to complete Business Studies, majoring in Accountancy and Enterprise Development.

He worked as assistant financial controller for Property Brokers for three years performing advanced Excel Spreadsheet analysis for KPI reporting before moving to an internal accountant role for a Ministry of Health funded organisation. This work included all administrative functions of Business from budget creation to payroll processing with responsibilities as liaison for the organisation in a government audit process.  With his combined experiences Lyndon then moved to fulfill his long term goal of providing key services to small businesses..

Always a keen sailor and sportsperson, Lyndon plays Soccer and Squash and has taken part in "Ironman" events. He is a lover of the outdoors, an excellent swimmer and keen hunter. He represented the RNZAF & later Massey University in Waterpolo as Team Captain. He enjoys 4wd exploration of NZ offroad country perhaps due to a love of the NZ back country that he saw while gaining his heavy 4WD qualifications with the military but perhaps due to the memories of his time in East Timor living in the bush..

Whilst still in the military Lyndon first met Katie while skiing on Mt Ruapehu. Their firendship developed during their time studying together at Massey and today Lyndon is married to Katie who is a practicing Veterinarian (specialising in large animals). They and their young family live on their farm in North Otago.
