![]() Direct dial mounts for faces under 900mm diameter |
|
Single Dials For up to 1.25 metre diameter clock faces.
Self-contained slave mechanism with motor for direct mounting onto the dial plate. As shown here, the body of the movement is very close to the back of the dial plate. Longer shaft lengths are used where the motor has to be stepped back from the plate to enable shadowless backlighting.
Through-wall version with illumination
Self contained slave mechanism features a long shaft for mounting through an exterior wall where the dial plate is mounted on the exterior. This model allows the hands to be illuminated.

Multiple Face Designs
Single gearbox for multi-faced clocks
This option permits two or four faces (as shown) to be controlled from a single slave motor assembly (centre of pic) driving dial gears through each wall of the tower enclosure. The advantage of this system for larger clock installations is that all faces are permanently locked together by mechanical gearing so they will always show the same time. The central slave motor couples to the dial gears by universal-joints and drive-shafts which are cut to suit the distances involved.
